History of the Wilkinson Sword Survival Knife
Conceived by esteemed British bushcraft expert Ray Mears, the Survival Knife was introduced by Wilkinson Sword around 1986. Its initial iterations, the MkI and MkII, featured distinctive pommel nuts and packaging. Available in two variants – satin bead-blasted finish or highly-polished steel – the Survival Knife enjoyed a brief tenure before being succeeded by the Dartmoor Knife in 2003.
