Spyderco Para 3 lightweight

The Spyderco Para 3 C223PBK is the light-weight version.  As the name might already suggest it is very light in weight but big in strength. This is one of the lighter pocket knives on the market. 

This doesn't mean that it is less solid than the G10-version. The FRN handle is often used on Spyderco knives and we know that it can handle some abuse. The grip pattern, is slightly more shallow. 

You open the Spyderco Para 3 light-weight with the thumb hole, as you do with many of the Spyderco models.  Spyderco's Compression Lock locks the blade solidly. 

The blade is made from CTS-BD1N steel, easy to sharpen and holds an edge well.
