Rockstead CHOU-IW Japanese Neck Knife with Ironwood Handle

The Rockstead CHOU-IW compact Neck Knife with Kydex sheath.

Wonderful craftsmanship with the design specifications we have come to expect from each and every Rockstead knife, a joy to own and use.

The Chou features a YXR-7 carbon steel trailing point blade, 4cm long, with a DLC coating polished to a mirror finish. The blade hardness is approximately 65 HRC. The full tang construction has Ironwood onlays with thumb jimping on the spine. The Kydex sheath is an excellent fit with lanyard holes. The full unit weighs only 57g soaking wet!

This knife is pre-owned and does not have its box or bag which is unfortunate, it does however have its Rockstead Satisfaction description & stock number (Laminated). The knife shows no signs of use or sharpening. 

It is recommended by Rockstead that if the blade ever needs sharpening, it is returned to the factory for re-grinding and sharpening. This is usually a free service and the blade will then provide another 2/3 years of service before needing to be serviced again.
