The Scrimshaw handle scales are Micarta, showing a duck scene on one scale and a gun dog on the other. Satin finish stainless blade. Stainless frame with scrimshawed micarta onlays. The knife appears unused, and has a factory edge. Gerber introduced the Paul knife in 1977 and its was discontinued in 1986.
The knife has an axial locking system originally designed by Paul W. Poehlmannin 1976. The knife is supplied with the walnut box as shown in the images. A rare and highly collectable item.
