The Very Rare 6030 Puma Alaskan knife With Wooden Handle & Brass Bolsters. Manufactured in 1980 with the Puma date code 25082 stamped into the wooden handle.
14cm Stainless Steel Blade with an overall length of 26.5cm. Original Leather Sheath.
The knife and sheath are in good used condition, evidence of sharpening on the blade and definite signs of use to the leather sheath.
A sturdy outdoor skinning/survival knife made by craftsmen in Germany Made from high carbon stainless steel, full tang blade. The blade has a razor sharp up sweep at the tip.
The short production period makes this knife very rare even in this used condition. It has a registered makers mark of 25082 on a sealed/unopened guarantee along with the original box and paperwork. Interestingly the shop receipt is also enclosed with an initial purchase date of 14th March 1982 from The London Armory. Hardened to achieve 56/58 Rockwell.
