Ka-Bar WW2 Fighting Knife -18 cm Blade

WW2 MK 2 2nd Type Ka-Bar Fighting Knife By Conetta  Black Leather Sheath.

The WW2 MK 2 type 2 fighting knife issued to the United States Navy has a heavy steel pommel secured by 2 pins. This is a very good original example of the 2nd type WW2 Fighting Knife made by Conetta together with its sheath.

The blackened hilt is clean and undamaged condition. The grip is constructed of compressed laminated leather washers with correct 2nd type steel pommel. (1st types were fitted with a threaded pommel nut) A steel cross guard with a 7" (18 cm)  parkerised bowie blade. The blade is crisply stamped with manufacturer details "US Conetta’. This knife is complete with its black leather sheath. The price includes UK delivery.

This knife is pre owned and has marks on the sheath and knife comensurate with its age.
