Gransfors Bruks Forest Axe

The Scandinavian Forest  Axe from Gransfors Bruks has a great traditional pattern and poll that you expect from a traditional forest axe. Great for snedding (limbing and trimming small trees) - a professional axe for a tree surgeon.

The blade is forged to a thin, curved, shaving sharp edge. The blade is thin. The handle is long enough to allow powerful chopping but not too long so it will fit into a back pack. The longer handle gives extra strength and power to the cut. It is a classic forest axe, useable with two hands and one hand for stronger or more skilled users.
