Ka-Bar USMC Short Knife Model 1250

In 1999, continuing the tradition of the famous USMC knife, Ka-Bar introduced the Short USMC Ka-Bar, a 3/4 size version of the original model.

The blade is 5.25" of high-carbon 1095 tool steel with a black epoxy powder coat and original 'USMC' tang stamp, leather handle, a carbon steel guard and powder metal butt cap. This vintage 3/4 version, purchased in 2002, comes with the long-time standard leather sheath known to three generations of Marines. As the original version, this knife has a sharpened upper swedge to the blade's clip point and a lower grind line than those currently manufactured. Ka-Bar USMC Short Knife

The knife has not been used or home-sharpened. It's box bears a copy of the design drawings of the USMC knife from World War 2. Proudly made in the USA.
